KPMG Lags Big Four Peers in Revenue Growth, Consulting Slows (1)

KPMG reported slower global revenue growth than its Big Four competitors, with fees rising 8% in local currency to $36.4 billion in 2023 amid a sharp slowdown in its consulting business.

Total fees rose 5% in US dollars during the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, KPMG International Limited said late Tuesday. In comparison, the firm posted $34.6 billion and 14% growth a year ago.

Competitors Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and PwC all reported double-digit revenue growth in local currency for their most recent fiscal years.
