SEC Names Acting Chief Accountant to Helm Office Amid Transition

The SEC’s top CPA for international matters will serve as the acting head of the Office of the Chief Accountant beginning in February.

  • Paul Munter will fill in as chief accountant following the departure of Sagar Teotia and will advise the Securities and Exchange Commission on matters related to accounting and auditing until a permanent successor is named, the agency said late Friday.
