The hourly minimum wage in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will rise to $15 effective Jan. 1, 2029, under an ordinance effective July 1.
The minimum wage will be $13 for calendar year 2027 and $14 for calendar year 2028, under Ordinance 26-33. Starting Jan. 1, 2030, the minimum wage will be subject to annual adjustments based on increases in the cost of living and rounded to the nearest five cents, under the ordinance.
Currently, Albuquerque’s minimum wage is $12, which is the same as New Mexico’s statewide minimum wage.
