Arizona’s hourly minimum wage will rise to $14.35 from $13.85 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to an Oct. 17 update on the state labor department website.
The announcement confirms Bloomberg Tax’s Sept. 14 minimum wage calculations.
Arizona also released an updated minimum wage poster for 2024. The poster is available in English and Spanish.
The tipped minimum wage will be $11.35, based on a maximum $3 tip credit. Employers may pay the tipped minimum wage to employees who customarily and regularly receive tips, according to the poster.
