The District of Columbia is postponing its scheduled July 1 tipped minimum wage increase, under a law signed June 30.
The tipped minimum wage is now scheduled to rise to $12 from $10 Oct. 1, under Act 26-94. The law does not affect the city’s nontipped minimum wage, which increased July 1 to $17.95 from $17.50.
