The hourly minimum wage in Minnesota is expected to rise to $11.41 from $11.13 for all employers effective Jan. 1, 2026, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
Minnesota also has a special rate that employers may pay employees under age 20 for the first 90 days of employment, under state law. That rate is expected to increase to $9.31 from $9.08.
Bloomberg Tax’s calculations are based on state law and federal data provided by the US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis.
