Streaming and satellite television companies won their battle with the city of Creve Coeur over video provider service fees after a Missouri trial court dismissed the case without explanation in a pair of orders Monday.
An amendment to the Video Service Providers Act clarified that the companies, including Netflix Inc. and DirecTV LLC, weren’t liable for the fees at any point under the state law, the defendants argued in separate briefs released August.
