The 2026 minimum wage rate in Boulder County, Colorado, will be reduced to equal the minimum wage for the city of Boulder, under an ordinance approved Nov. 20.
Boulder County’s minimum wage, which only applies to unincorporated areas of the county, will increase to $16.82 for 2026, under Ordinance 2025-001. This is the same rate that will be in effect in the city of Boulder.
Previously, Boulder County’s minimum wage was scheduled to increase to $17.99 for 2026. The county’s minimum wage is $16.57 in 2025.
