The hourly minimum wage in Denver, Colorado, will increase to $18.81 from $18.29 effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to an Aug. 1 press release.
The hourly minimum wage for tipped food and beverage workers will rise to $15.79, according to the press release. Employers may only pay the $15.79 rate if these employees earned at least $3.02 an hour in actual tips.
The statewide minimum wage in Colorado for 2024 is $14.42 for nontipped employees and $11.40 for tipped employees. Edgewater and Boulder County also have their own local minimum wage rates.
